JULY 16

Tyler Gitchel is a rising star in country music, recognized for blending classic country, rock, and storytelling into his performances. At just 17, he won both Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year at the 2023 NACMAI competition. His talent has also led to opening opportunities for artists such as Ray Scott, Dale Watson, and Ben Chapman. In 2024, Tyler took on the lead role in the short film "Finding Chase," which won first place for Family Film in the Detroit 48 Hour Film Project competition. He is also a fifth-generation musician, with his musical journey significantly shaped by his father. Tyler is currently working on his debut EP, set to be released in the summer of 2025.

They are a staple in the local music scene, frequently playing at popular venues like Brady's Bar and Jacob's Farm, bringing their unique brand of "Celtic insanity" and "Celtic fun" to audiences. Their energetic shows are designed to get people moving and enjoying themselves, making them a popular choice for those looking for an upbeat and engaging musical experience in Traverse City.

Darrell Boger is a Traverse City-area musician, recognized as an award-winning guitarist. He is a versatile performer, playing multiple instruments including trombone, brass, woodwinds, guitar, and piano. Darrell has extensive experience playing in various bands and as a solo artist, captivating audiences with his combination of "unbridled soul and technical prowess." He has been voted Traverse Magazine's Red Hot Best Artist/Maker and regularly performs at local venues such as Johnny's Torch Riviera and Twin Birch. Darrell is also the Worship Leader at Kalkaska Church of Christ.

For the fourth year running, the Heritage Festival is your go-to spot for community vibes, delicious bites from our food truck, and the perfect soundtrack to enjoy with a cold drink from our on-site bartender.
